A Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and holding a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Delhi, he brings over three decades of experience spanning financial management, systems development, ERP implementation, taxation, project financing, and commercial operations.

Location:- The Barauni Fertilizer unit is located in the Begusarai district of Bihar. Railway Station (Barauni) is at a distance of 0.8 km from the plant site. The Barauni Refinery of IOCL lies adjacent to the fertilizer plant. The plant is well connected by rail and road. National Highways No. 31 passes nearby. The nearest airport is at Patna about 100 km from Barauni.
Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited (AVFCCL) has been incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 25th July 2025 and is having its registered office at Assam. AVFCCL is Joint Venture Company of Government of Assam, Oil India Limited, National Fertilizer Limited, Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited, with equity participation in the ratio of 40:18:18:13:11.
AVFCCL was incorporated with the objective to establish and operate new Fertilizer plant (Ammonia-Urea and associated chemicals) at existing premises of BVFCL at Namrup, Assam and to market its products, taking into consideration the assets of BVFCL at Namrup, Assam.
